One of Nathan's latest interests is cooking. Ideally, he'd love to do it all by himself, but he tolerates sitting in his highchair and watching/participating as much as he can. When I was a kid, I remember sitting on the counter in my grandma's kitchen and observing/helping, and Nathan has LOVED doing that as well. He's not entirely steady yet though, so the highchair has been a better location.
He also loves to get the pots and pans out and pretend he's cooking up a wonderful concoction. A few weeks ago I also gave him a bowl and a spoon and we "tasted" his creations when they were finished. The huge grin on his face made my day.
